Had this a couple of months and it's held up well (I'm very tough on watches). Like the other Armitron I bought, it has a large, uncluttered, easily read display with the basic data I want (month/day/date). I also like the overall design, but it is a bit large and bulky. The band is a bit wider than usual; the pattern reminds me of the rear tire tread of my motorcycle! Seems to be quality design and construction. The stainless steel trim is a nice touch. Like the way it came packaged in a tin box! The "Birthday Mode" lets you program the alarm to sound at a preset time and date. The instructions don't say you can set 8 different birthday mode dates; I think the feature has interesting possibilities. Quick update: Been using this a while and time keeping accuracy is outstanding, better than my Heuer, Movado and Accutron. No comparison between the stopwatch, etc. functions of this and the analog watches; beats the analog ones by a mile. It's also holding up very well. After having Timex, Casio G-Shock, etc. I'd have to say Armitron makes an exceptional value priced watch. -- Cool watch but a little bulky
