User Reviews about Seiko Men's SGG707 Titanium Case and Bracelet Watch

So I just got this watch today and I LOVE IT!!! Its for my boyfriend and I know he will like it, but there's just one thing. This watch is bilingual and you cannot change it to just one language, the calendar shows the weekdays in spanish and in English. Neither does Amazon or the Seiko website indicate this, so I had no idea. I'm going to return this if my boyfriend doesn't want to read both languages.

Otherwise, this watch is beautiful and really sleek. And I don't know what the other people were saying about the "noise factor". This watch is really quiet. It is a really nice watch. The only catch is that it's bilingual....ugh If that doesn't bug you, then get it!! -- this watch es bilingual!!!!
The watch was a gift for my brother; it looked really nice, but it was so light weight that it seemed cheap (he didn't believe the original price). The band is pretty big as well, so he's working on trying to find a place that will adjust it, so keep that in mind. -- Looks nice, but so light weight is seems cheap
This watch only lasted about 4 years, but I liked it so much, I started to buy another just like it.

PROs:
Its very very light weight,
It keeps excellent time,
Easy to read,
Bright luminous dial.

CONs:
The stem is easily displaced/ pulled out, resulting in the time function to stop, or the date to change inadvertly.
It quit after 4 years (my very first Seiko lasted 11 years).

Now, on second thought, I'm going to buy another model; several times when the stem on this watch displaced, I got in trouble because I was late (I mean big trouble with the wife). I'm also changing my rating from 4 stars to 3 stars.

I am happy with the watch overall, it is amazingly lightweight and thin compared to my old kinetic one. This makes it very comfortable, more than any other watch I've owned. My only gripe is the sound, this thing is loud! I can hear it click as I drive down the road without the radio. Anytime you are in a quiet setting, you hear it tick. I've gotten used to it, but there is a trasition. -- Sieko Titanium Watch
The fit & finish of this watch is top notch, and the brushed titanium finish and classic simple layout makes for a great, lightweight combination. But you can see that for yourself in the picture.

Two points to note: first, not all jewelry stores will be able to adjust the watch band - I guess there is a specialty tool for the titanium series. And second, in my opinion the watch is a bit on the noisy side. For a higher end watch I expected that the watch movement would be inaudible, but I can clearly hear the watch in quiet environments.

Still, I would recommend the watch & Seiko does have a great reputation for long term quality. -- Great Classic Looks . . . But a Bit Noisy
