My son, 11, has this watch. He wears it everywhere, including in the pool for swim practice and for all his scouting campouts and activities. The watch has held up well and still looks pretty good after over a year's constant wear.

I just bought this watch for my 11-year-old son. This watch's smaller face size is a good fit for his wrist. (An alternative is to get a woman's watch that isn't "girly.") My son and I really like its looks with the red sides; it is both sporty and attractive (well, to the extent a digital watch is ever truly attractive). He quickly selected this one when I showed him a number of candidates. It has Indiglo and all the standard Timex digital watch features (chrono, timer, alarm, date, 2nd time zone...), is waterproof to 50m, yet is priced at about half as much as Timex Expedition watches don't do anything more. We were very pleased to find it. Right now Amazon is selling it only for a 3rd party (so no free shipping), and the shipping cost is almost half the cost of the watch, but I found it elsewhere at the same price with free shipping. -- Outstanding value, just right for my 11-year-old

Got this watch so I could wear it in the swimming pool. So far it works great. I'm able to time my workouts and it is comfortable to wear. -- good product

I took my old Ironman to WalMart to have the battery replaced. They sold the battery ($5) but couldn't replace the battery, even though I bought the watch there. Anyway, I decided to get a new watch instead. This one is PERFECT! Shows the day of the week, time (HMS), as well as the date. I thought it might be too big for me, since I have a small wrist. It fits exactly right, and is the ideal size. Buttons are difficult to push, but I only use the chrono function to time myself anyway.
