I just bought my second blue-grey Timex 1440 sports watch for about $15-- a great price for a very light weight, comfortable watch that lights up and has a stopwatch and alarm function. This model and a similar one come in lavender, grey, and other colors. The color is subdued and goes with everything a person who looks good in denim blue should have in her wardrobe.

The buttons to set the time and alarm are kind of hard to push, and the method for changing time is not that straightforward so hang on to the instructions.

Note of caution: It's a water resistant watch you don't have to worry about breaking, as long as you don't twist the band or flex it "backward." The steel case makes the watch itself durable, but the decorative plastic framing it is vulnerable. My first watch stopped after I'd had it 17 months. When I flexed the band to remove the back so I could change batteries, the pressure of the band bending the "wrong way" cracked the housing right off where it gripped the watchband pin. Boo hoo, I loved my blue watch...so I got another one.

Nice looks, but very unintuitive menus to change date and alarm etc. buttons very hard to press..leaves painful dents in your skin that feel sore for 10 minutes after..you get only what you pay for. -- Functional but...

Pro's for this watch: good basic sports watch, price is right

Con for this watch: the control buttons are very difficult to push (and I don't have arthritis!) when you want to set time and date, use the timer, set the alarm, etc. -- Good basic sports watch; difficult-to-push buttons

Easy to use, ideal features, and exactly what I had come looking for (and then some). I needed a new sports watch, mainly for use with exercising, but also for everyday wear. So far, so great! -- Exactly what I wanted
